"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs "



A long time ago, a child was born to a queen and king and she was called Snow White. When the queen died, the king married again. This new queen (she is a witch transformed a human) was wicked and hated Snow white. The queen gave orders that Snow White was to be treated as a servant.

Snow White grew very beautiful and one day a Prince riding by, saw her at work and fell in love with her.
The queen was beautiful too, and every day she asked her Magic Mirror,
“Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
Who in this land is fairest of all?”
And the mirror always answered
“You, my queen, are fairest one of all.”
And then she knew for certain that no one in the world was more beautiful than she.
Snow White's stepmother, the Queen, grows jealous of her stepdaughter because of her kindness and beauty. Fearing that one day her stepdaughter's beauty will surpass her own, she consults with her Magic Mirror, who confirms that the princess is indeed the fairest of them all.

When the queen asked her mirror,

“Mirror, mirror, on the wall,
Who in this land is fairest of all?”
The mirror answered,
“You, my queen, are fair; it is true.
But Snow-White is still
A thousand times fairer than you.”

When the queen heard the mirror say this, she became pale with envy, and from that hour on, she hated Snow-White. Whenever she looked at her, she thought that Snow-White was to blame that she was no longer the most beautiful woman in the world. This turned her heart around. Her jealousy gave her no peace. Finally,the Queen instructs the huntsman to take Snow White in to the forest to be killed, "Take Snow-White out into the woods to a remote spot, and stab her to death. As proof that she is dead bring her lungs and her liver back to me. I shall cook them with salt and eat them."
but instead he tells her to run away. Frightened, Snow White runs in to the forest and finds consolation with some animal friends. Snow White discovers a cottage. Since the items and pieces of furniture are all so tiny, she assumes that the house is owned by seven children who possibly have no parents. It is revealed however that the cottage residents are seven dwarf miners, who are very surprised to see Snow White in their house when they return from the mines. Upon learning of her fate and identity, they agree to let her live in their house. During this time, she cooks, cleans, and cares for the dwarfs.
The Queen discovers that Snow White is still alive and disguises herself as a hag. She finds Snow White in the dwarfs' cottage while they are out at the mines and offers her a poisoned apple. After Snow White bits the apple, she sank into unconsciousness.
The dwarfs arrive soon after and are unable to save Snow White, but they chase the Queen up a cliff until she falls to her death.
Unwilling to bury Snow White, because of her beauty, the dwarfs build a glass coffin in which to lay her to rest. She is left in the woods, where the prince from earlier finds her. One day, the Prince was riding through the forest looking for Snow White and found her. He leaned over and kissed her. She opened her eyes and sat up with a smile. Everyone was happy. The Prince took Snow White to his palace where they were married and lived happily ever after.
